I'm a UX Designer with experience in doing user research.
Before my journey in UX, I completed an Hon. BA at University of Toronto, studying social sciences. I worked in human resources afterwards, where I supported cross-enterprise learning programs and national campus recruitment. This experience helped me build deep empathy with people and be able to articulate problems that address both business goals and user needs.
With a growth mindset and a strong passion of unleashing my creativity, I joined the Master program in Digital Experience Innovation at University of Waterloo, studying User Experience Research and Design. I found being a designer and be part of the design community makes me a better person. I enjoy solving problems through different lens of thinking and working with teams from interdisciplinary backgrounds. I'm interested in discovering human needs to help people realize their potentials through delightful experience.
I see myself as an experience designer for my own life too, who constantly learns, adapts and explores different possibilities throughout my life journey. All the experience prior to my UX journey are so valuable because they help me fully understand what truly motivates me and what impacts I could make to engage and help people achieve their goals. I would have not discovered UX -- the perfect combination of my interests in people, creative thinking and problem-solving, without all the dots connected together.
An individual human existence should be like a river: small at first, narrowly contained within its banks, and passionately past rocks and over waterfalls. Gradually the river grows wider, the banks recede, the waters flow more quietly, and in the end, without any visible break, they become merged in the sea, and painlessly lose their individual being.

Here I am, a curious dream builder who still strikes to learn more, discover more, and experience more about my inner self and the world.
